Said Attalah

Dr. Said Attalah is a Research Professional in the Biosystems Engineering Department at the University of Arizona. He is stationed at the University of Arizona Maricopa Agricultural Center. He earned a master's and Ph.D. degrees in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from the University of Arizona.  

Dr. Attalah is currently involved in the University of Arizona’s extension program with Dr. Elshikha, working on water resources management with a focus on adopting best irrigation practices including the use of high efficiency irrigation systems, developing deficit irrigation strategies, use of new technologies, such as remote sensing and in-situ moisture sensors to define appropriate irrigation scheduling and optimize water productivity with various crop types.
